who we are
The Webster Humanitarian Association (WHA) is a Swiss-registered NGO led by Webster University Geneva students. Being a member of the WHA gives us the opportunity to become involved in humanitarian issues, to promote human rights and equality, and to play an active role in shaping a better world.
what we do
Fundraising
Every year WHA raises funds for humanitarian causes around the world. Our goal is to make as big of an impact as possible.
Events
WHA organizes a variety of events for members and newcomers alike including trivia nights, clothing drives, bake sales and more.
Conferences
Every year WHA plays an active role in facilitating and organizing the International Humanitarian Security Conference (IHSC)
Humanitarian Trips
Since 2009, WHA has organized several humanitarian trips to Bosnia.

Our Mission
1. Support and encourage research by students and faculty in the fields of global humanitarian affairs, refugee and migration, human rights and social justice, reconciliation and conflict resolution
2. Provide the WHA community with opportunities to enhance education by applying their knowledge and skills in the context of a non-profit organization
3. Raise awareness about protracted conflicts and forgotten crises
4. Raise funds for individuals and groups in need
